Maybe you can point to exactly when this started. Maybe it’s harder to pin down. Either way, what happened can change how you sleep, how you react, and how close you let people get. Here, the pace, the choices, and the sense of safety are yours from the first conversation. Nothing has to be earned.

The aim isn’t to forget what happened. It’s for what happened to stop running your day.
You don’t need to tick every box. One or two that feel familiar is reason enough to reach out.
It depends on you, and on how soon you feel ready to move into trauma-focused work. Some approaches are structured and time-limited; we’ll tell you what to expect once we know more. Every few sessions we check in together and adjust.
Trauma therapy helps you process a hard experience, or experiences, so it has less hold on your day-to-day life. It usually starts with building safety and coping skills. Then it works through the trauma itself using an approach like EMDR, CPT, PE, or WET, at a pace you control. If guilt, shame, or a shaken sense of trust is part of what you’re carrying, we may also work directly on that.
