These terms apply to your use of this website and, where relevant, to the clinical services provided by Current Health Collective. By using this site, you agree to them.
This website is provided for general information about Current Health Collective and to allow visitors to request a consultation or contact us. Nothing on this website constitutes clinical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and using this site does not create a client-therapist relationship. That relationship begins only once you’ve completed intake and started care with us.
Current Health Collective is not a crisis or emergency service, and this website should never be used to seek urgent help. If you are in crisis, call or text 988, call the Nova Scotia Mental Health Crisis Line at 1-888-429-8167 (24/7), or call 911. If you are under 20, Kids Help Phone is available 24/7 at 1-800-668-6868 or by texting CONNECT to 686868.
Session fees, insurance receipts, and our 24-hour cancellation policy are described in the Fees section of our homepage. By booking a session, you agree to these terms.
We provide counselling to young people aged 13 and up. Sessions may be booked by the young person or by a parent or guardian. Whoever books agrees to these terms, including the cancellation policy, and is responsible for session fees. Consent for care is reviewed with the young person, and with a parent or guardian where they are involved, before the first session.
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes. You may not impersonate Current Health Collective or misrepresent your affiliation with us, interfere with the site’s operation, security, or availability, use automated tools to scrape or access the site, or submit false or misleading information through our forms.
Fees for sessions already provided are non-refundable. Our cancellation policy is described in the Fees section.
The content on this website, including text, layout, and branding, belongs to Current Health Collective and may not be copied or reproduced without permission.
Our clinicians practice under the ethical standards of their respective regulatory colleges: the Nova Scotia College of Social Workers (NSCSW) and the Nova Scotia College of Counselling Therapists (NSCCT).
This website is provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. While we take reasonable steps to keep it accurate, secure, and available, we don’t guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, Current Health Collective is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and Canada. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining terms stay in effect.
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
